“Simply Clean” Starter Kits and FREE All-Purpose Cleaner Recipe

Green Cleaning

Hello! I’m always so excited to sit down and write these blogs and share updates and information with you. I have some great stuff today! First of all – I want to let you know that starter kits and packages to accompany “Simply Clean” are now available for the USA, Canada, UK and Europe.

What this means is, if you really want to get started with non-toxic cleaning with essential oils but don’t know where to get some of the harder-to-find items, or just don’t have time, no problem! The kits come with a download link for the book; a starter kit containing essential oils of lavender, tea tree, sweet orange and lemon; liquid castile soap; plant-based liquid detergent and varying levels of direct support from me to answer your questions and walk you through the process – should you need it.

The only things you’ll need to buy in order to get started with the basics are baking soda and white vinegar  – sold at every grocery store :-).

For now – check out the free recipe for an All-Purpose Cleaner (as found in the book) below! 🙂

The oils and soaps for the kits are being supplied by two AWESOME women that I found, Carol Howe and Lesley Yandall. Both women have their own small businesses and love the oils and holistic living as much as I do.

wild herb bannerThe essential oils included in all kits for the USA and Canada come from the fabulous Carol Howe and her company, Wild Herb Soap Co, based in Gold Canyon, Arizona. Carol makes truly beautiful natural soaps, lotions (and more) that have 0% animal by-products, artificial fragrances or other added nasties. Instead, she uses all natural plant-derived materials and high grade, uncut essential oils – the same oils in fact that are supplied in the “Simply Clean” kits. I’m so pleased to be working with her and offering her superb quality products in my packages. You can find out more about Carol and Wild Herb Soap Co at her online shop: Wild Herb Soap Co.

Lesley is a trained aromatherapist and massage therapist who specialises in massage for people with learning disabilities, dementia sufferers and end of life. She has her own line of organic essential oils, hand creams, soy candles and more! Her oils are of a premium quality and I am thrilled to be working with her and able to offer you her beautiful products in my packages. I’m so happy to be expanding the Airmid Botanicals family and feel fortunate to work with two women who are also dedicated to not only living a holistic life for themselves, but working to make quality natural products and services available to the world around them.

All-Purpose Cleaner

Your all-purpose cleaner is something you can use in the kitchen, as well as the bathroom, for children’s toys – and anywhere else you have hard surfaces you want to clean. It is extremely convenient and cost-saving to only need one cleaner. There is no reason to buy different cleaners for different rooms in the house.
Method 1 – This method is for those who don’t want to use any detergents. You will need two spray bottles.

Spray Bottle 1(24oz/710ml):

2cups/480mls water

2tspns/12mls liquid castile soap

20 drops lemon, 10 drops eucalyptus, 10 drops clove (OR 20 drops lemon, 10 drops sweet orange, 10 drops tea tree. And if you want to keep it really simple – 40 drops lemon)

Spray Bottle 2 (24oz/710ml):

2cups/480mls water

½cup/120mls white vinegar

*20 drops lavender or sweet orange (or 10 drops of each).

Method 1: To make up each bottle, simply combine all ingredients and shake gently to combine. Spray counter tops and hard surfaces with the contents of spray bottle one. Scrub and wipe down with a sponge or microfiber cloth. Then, spray the same surfaces again with spray bottle two. Wipe down with a separate microfiber cloth.

Method 2 – for those who would like to keep everything in one bottle and are happy to use a plant-based detergent.

Spray Bottle (24oz/710ml):

2cups/480mls water

2tspns/12mls plant-derived all-purpose liquid detergent

½ cup/120mls white vinegar

20 drops lemon, 10 drops eucalyptus, 10 drops clove (OR 20 drops lemon, 10 drops sweet orange, 10 drops tea tree. And if you want to keep it really simple – 40 drops lemon)

Method 2: To make, combine all ingredients in the bottle and shake gently to combine. Spray counters and hard surfaces. Scrub with a sponge or microfiber cloth. Wipe down with a separate microfiber cloth.
